GOOD NEWS FOR  SINNERS!

THE ALL SUFFICIENT CHRIST CAN SAVE YOU

If you have never come to saving faith in Jesus Christ, then the Bible describes your state in very dark colours indeed! However, this is a gospel site, and we want to share some GOOD NEWS with you. Look at the table below. In the first column, we describe the state of those not saved. In the second column, we give scriptural proof, just to show that our assessment is not a mere man’s opinion, but sourced in the very word of God. IN THE THIRD COLUMN: SEE WHAT YOU CAN BECOME WHEN YOU CRY OUT UNTO THE LORD FOR SALVATION.

WHAT YOU ARE
WITHOUT JESUS CHRIST
SCRIPTURAL PROOF       WHAT YOU CAN BECOME IN JESUS CHRIST!
YOU ARE UNGODLY
And if the righteous scarcely be
saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? (1 Peter 4:18)
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (Titus 2:12)
YOU ARE UNCLEAN For we are all as an unclean thing and all our righteousness’ are like filthy rags, we do fade as a leaf, and our iniquities like the wind have carried us away.  (Isaiah 64:6)         Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. (Psalm 51:7)

YOU ARE UNBELIEVING

But the fearful and unbelieving…shall have their part in the lake of fire which burneth  with fire and brimstone… (Revelation 21:8)
And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women. (Acts 5:14)
YOU ARE UNSAVED The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. (Jeremiah 8:20)         For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Ephesians 2:8)

YOU ARE UNREDEEMED

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant [slave] of sin. (John 8:34)
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: (Galatians 3:13)
YOU ARE UNREGENERATE
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter 1:23)
YOU ARE UNPREPARED Prepare to meet thy God (Amos 4:12)      For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. (2 Timothy 4:6)
YOU ARE UNHOPEFUL
That at that time ye were without Christ, …having no hope, and without God in the world: (Ephesians 2:12)
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; (Hebrews 6:19)
YOU ARE UNHAPPY     Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.       (Proverbs 14:13)      Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: (1 Peter 1:8)
YOU ARE UNSATISFIED  Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? (Isaiah 55:2) The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. (Proverbs 19:23)
YOU ARE UNFRUITFUL  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (Ephesians 5:11)      That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; (Colossians 1:10)
YOU ARE UNHOLY  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (2 Timothy 3:2)        If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. (1 Corinthians 3:17)
YOU ARE UNFREE Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: (Galatians 4:3)         If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:36)
YOU ARE UNPROFITABLE     And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 25:30)      Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me: (Philemon 1:11)
YOU ARE UNWISE    Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.          (Romans 1:21)      The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. (Proverbs 9:10)
YOU ARE UNCLOTHED  Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (Revelation 16:15)  …that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.     (Revelation 3:18)
YOU ARE UNWASHED  How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water? (Job 15:16)    But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)
YOU ARE UNWORTHY  Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
(Acts 13:46)
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. (Revelation 3:4)
YOU ARE UNPROTECTED     And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (Revelation 6:15-17)      The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. (Proverbs 18:10)

YOU ARE UNLEARNED
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
(2 Timothy 3:7)
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (Matthew 11:29)

ONE THING IS SURE THOUGH…

…YOU ARE NOT UNLOVED OR UNSOUGHT!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

The Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which is lost. (Luke 19:10)
